Handbag Question Please!?

I just bought the pop novelty dooney and bourke handbag and was wondering if I can wear it in the winter too since it is so colorful. I'm thinking about getting a giraffe print or zebra print bag I just wondered how they hold up and are they easy to get scratches on them. Thanks!
