If I want to study the Talmud directly, where should I start?

I need to learn Hebrew and the Aramaic of both the Talmud Bavli (Babylonian Aramaic) and Talmud Yerushalmi (Palestinian Aramaic). Can you recommend books and other resources to learn these languages? Can you also recommend good introductory books on the Talmud more generally? Any other recommendations would also be appreciated.
