Why do Scandinavians hunt Whales and Sharks?

They have been doing it for longer than written history, and aren't about to stop now. all the immigrants that came to the US hunted the American buffalo to the brink of extinction, and nobody seemed to give a crap, they didn't even eat it, they just took the hide and left the corpse to rot. at least the Norwegians sell the meat. and yes, its delicious. and no saying that you want people to stop the hunting because its barbaric does not make you cool, it makes you uneducated.
